The Fawn Malero Mystery series is an adult urban fantasy mystery series set in Seattle Washington. It follows Fawn Malero, a magician born with magical abilities that include talking to animals, super bendability and supernatural empathetic drive. Her father is in charge of keeping the secret of supernaturals from humans in Seattle and has given Fawn a portion of the city to watch over.
She isn’t thrilled about this, having grown up idolizing humans and the seemingly easy life they have.
But she takes it on and in A Life with Beasts she’s forced to come to terms with this responsibility when dead cats start getting dumped in her territory and an injured vampire is dragged into her house by the Werewolf who’s hated her since they were kids.
Accepting her role she investigates what’s going on around her and in the process learns about the beasts she’s been living beside for so long and gathers a posse of friends who will help her despite their differences.
Book two, Supernatural P.I. continues her adventures with new mysteries crawling out of the sound and a trip across the state to North Idaho where she tracks a Magician on the run. Old boyfriends, new loves and trouble in paradise fill this mystery series with a touch of romance and humor.
Book three has Fawn dealing with some of the loose ends she left on her other adventures, they all seem to be coming at her at the same time and she doesn’t know how much to share with her very possessive werewolf boyfriend!
